What is HOPE?
Welcome to the revised version of my podcast, The Harpreet’s Wildlife Show, now called "HOPE." You may wonder, why choose such a seemingly generic word? What does it truly mean to me? Let me share the profound depth behind this simple yet powerful term.
As I embarked on this wildlife adventure, I realized that it couldn't solely revolve around me. I wanted to create something that would motivate others to understand my mission and, perhaps, even join me on this transformative journey. That's why I deliberately chose the word "HOPE." I believe that hope holds a unique significance for everyone. Through this podcast, each guest becomes a beacon of hope, carrying the potential to inspire and uplift all who listen. "HOPE" serves as my personal ray of optimism, a catalyst for positive change. Yet, its impact may vary for each individual and that’s the beauty of this term, how it can positively motivate someone.
This podcast also aims to restore hope to those who may have lost it due to various reasons - whether it's doubting the possibility of a better society, feeling overwhelmed by threats to wildlife or yearning for the harmonious coexistence of humans and animals.
Now, allow me to share the story behind the name "HOPE" and how it came to me with such clarity. After brainstorming for a week, I found myself engrossed in a captivating National Geographic documentary titled "Jane Goodall: The Hope." As the documentary drew to a close, the word "HOPE" resonated deeply within me. I turned to my brother and simply said, "Hope, that's what I'll call my podcast."
Join me on this captivating journey through "HOPE," where I invite you to experience the beauty of nature and find inspiration to make a difference. Together, let's reignite our spirits, nurture a world where wildlife thrives and foster a harmonious bond between humans and animals. I genuinely hope that you enjoy every moment of "HOPE."
